- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric root or 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme), chopped
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping them finely.
- In a large mason jar, layer the ginger, garlic, hot peppers, lemon zest, turmeric, and herbs.
- Pour apple cider vinegar over the ingredients until fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly.
- Store in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks, shaking gently every few days.
- After steeping, strain out solids using cheesecloth and stir in honey until dissolved.
