  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef for about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with garlic powder, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano until smooth.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
