- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef for about 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with garlic powder, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano until smooth.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
