Ingredients
- 1 ribeye steak (12 oz)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season both sides of the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce until well mixed.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking; add oil and sear the steak for 4–5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for at least 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice the steak against the grain and top each slice with cowboy butter before serving.
