- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink.
- Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce and brown sugar; mix well.
- Dissolve cornstarch in water; add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until glossy.
- Drizzle sesame oil before serving over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions.
